Ida Louise Boutique
This Agreement is made between Ida Louise Boutique ("Ida Louise," "we," "our," or "us") and the undersigned consignor ("Consignor," "you," or "your"). By acknowledging below, you authorize Ida Louise Boutique to receive, authenticate, market, list, and sell your submitted item(s) under the following terms.
1. Items Accepted
Ida Louise Boutique currently accepts:
We reserve the right to decline any item that does not meet our standards for authenticity, condition, category, or marketability.
2. Ownership and Authenticity
By signing this Agreement, you confirm that:
3. Authentication
All handbags are subject to authentication prior to listing.
If a handbag does not pass authentication, it will not be listed for sale, and a $35 authentication fee will apply. Ida Louise Boutique may use a third-party authentication provider at its discretion.
4. Consignment Term
The consignment term is 60 days, beginning on the date your item is received by Ida Louise Boutique. If your item does not sell within that period, we will contact you to discuss next steps.
5. Pricing and Sales Method
Ida Louise Boutique will determine the pricing, presentation, and sales method for accepted items based on market conditions, item condition, brand demand, and selling experience. Sales methods may include live selling, fixed-price listing, or other resale methods.
If you provide a preferred minimum price, we may consider it. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Ida Louise Boutique retains final discretion over pricing and sales strategy.
6. Commission and Payout
The Consignor will receive 70% of the final sale price, and Ida Louise Boutique will retain 30% as its commission.
Payouts are typically issued within 7 to 10 business days after a completed sale, although payment may sometimes be sent sooner. A sale is considered complete after funds have been successfully received and cleared.
Payout may be delayed if reasonably necessary due to payment issues, chargebacks, fraud review, shipping issues, disputes, or similar transaction-related matters.
7. Shipping and Care
Once approved, Ida Louise Boutique may provide a shipping label or shipping instructions. You are responsible for packaging your item securely before shipment. Risk of loss during shipping to Ida Louise Boutique remains with you until the package is delivered to and accepted by us.
After receipt, Ida Louise Boutique will use reasonable care in handling, storing, marketing, and selling your item. However, Ida Louise Boutique is not an insurer of consigned goods and is not responsible for loss, theft, delay, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Unsold Items
If your item does not sell during the 60-day consignment term, Ida Louise Boutique will contact you regarding the next step. If return shipping is requested or agreed, the Consignor may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Right to Decline or Remove Items
Ida Louise Boutique reserves the right to decline, remove, pause, or cancel the listing of any item if we determine that the item may not be authentic, was materially misrepresented, does not meet our standards, or creates legal, reputational, or operational concerns.
10. Status Updates
As part of the consignment experience, Ida Louise Boutique may provide updates such as: Label Sent · Item Received · Listed · Sold · Paid. These updates are provided as a courtesy and do not alter the terms of this Agreement.
11. Electronic Signature
By acknowledging electronically, you agree that your electronic signature is valid and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law. You also agree to receive this Agreement and related communications electronically.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
13. Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the full understanding between the parties regarding the consignment of the submitted item(s). Any modification must be made in writing.
